Greetings,

 

Our Narthex Nook book club is looking to gather early this spring. I have been given the wonderful suggestion asking if we could explore the feminine side of God. Does God have a feminine side? I declare wholeheartedly YES! “God created humanity in God’s own image, in the divine image God created them, male and female God created them” (Genesis 1:27 CEB). 

 

We are looking for a book that will help to reveal God’s nurturing mothering tenderness, Her divine wisdom, which is always offered with the feminine pronoun, God’s motherly instinct to protect Her beloved creation and the amazing creative power of a God that birthed all of creation into existence. 

 

I want to suggest one of these three books. However, we welcome other suggestions.
