Caring for God's Creation

I believe in my heart that faith in Jesus Christ can and will lead us beyond an exclusive concern for the well-being of other human beings to the broader concern for the well-being of the birds in our backyards, the fish in our rivers, and every living creature on the face of the earth.
John Wesley

Stop by and grab a brochure about how we are creating our Pollinator Garden. We also have a dog library for those pooches looking for a stick.

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26)

Dominion means we are in control. That gives us a great responsibility to take care of our planet, our home. This is one way we wish to care for our home and those creatures within it.

Also, come by and grab a butterfly seed starter to start your own pollinator garden.

Interested in being a part of this? Anyone and everyone is welcome. Contact us to see how you can help or get more information.

Our Sunday school is also very involved with our Pollinator Garden. They will be creating hummingbird feeders, bat houses, bee homes, and more. Also well as learning to see God in all of nature's wonders.
